Stella Racca is a young lesbian filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Documentary Media at Toronto Metropolitan University. She graduated summa cum laude from York University in 2023 with a BFA in Film Production and a minor in Human Rights and Equity. She is passionate about cinematography, production design, and directing narrative and documentary films. For her, one of the most compelling things about filmmaking is doing so from a queer perspective.

Her work has screened at Inside Out, the Gender Equity in Media Festival in Vancouver, Exposures Trans Film Festival, BIPOC International Film Festival, Prague International Film Festival, and YOUKI International Youth Media Festival.
